This course is a complete introduction to Yoga. It will provide you with the tools you need to get started and progress into regular classes safely and with confidence.
The focus will be on the learning the basics of a Hatha and Vinyasa Flow style practice, including the key actions and principles of alignment of the core postures, proper breathing techniques, basic philosophy, Sanskrit terminology and the art of relaxation.
These information-rich sessions will build on your knowledge and experience week by week. The small class size will allow time for questions and personal guidance, including modifications of postures to suit your individual needs.
Whether you are an absolute beginner, need a refresher, or have always wanted to know “am I doing this right”, this course is essential.
